Welcome to AMN

Good morning folks, I trust your week has been productive. As I am writing this Yahoo is having some problems that are keeping me out of my e-mail and since I was out of town for 2 days helping my parents in Ranger Texas while their car was in the shop I am a little behind. Our guest article was written and received a few days ago, but until Yahoo gets this problem resolved it is stuck in my e-mail inbox. I will send an update when it is ready to view.

My new program, which is a blended, two program promotion page is going great. I have had almost daily sign-ups to the program and have one of the fastest growing teams in YPML. With the success and money I am starting to make with this program, we will dwell into YPML in our program review this week and also take a look at the why's and how's of combining or partnering your program promotions.

My family is doing great, although with the pressure I placed on myself to get a program to launch, I felt it was long overdue to re-introduces myself to them. That is part of the reason for our trip to grandma Pam and Grandpa Dale's house in Ranger. I am dedicated to say the least, and I believe that the work I do online can and will provide my family with a better life, but lately I have been obsessed with keeping things growing and building while I am on this recruiting roll. That I have been a virtual zombie to the very people I am doing it for. My wife understands and has been very supportive but my little ones sure were glad to have daddy back the last 2 days.

I know from this weeks eye opener that I missed wrestling with the youngins more than I ever imagined and at some point you need to step back and look at what you value the most in life. I have been very successful in YPML, Reality Networkers, Money Train and SFI for the last 3 months, and in my rush to make sure this winning streak keeps building I was reminded that more important hand all the success you have, is the success you had to begin with.

For me, my success lies in having 3 beautifully children, and a loving and supportive wife, and yes, the baby on the way. Without them I would not have half the motivation to do some of the amazing things I have been able to do in the last few months. My programs have over 80 new recruits combined, with nearly a 70% upgrade rate and have defied all the laws of pay as you go along the way. That's right, I stopped paying a fortune and set out on a task to prove that some of the best promotion tools on the net are free and that success with these programs depends on the individual and not on the the cost of the program.

If you have read the program reviews and the forum feedback the past couple weeks, you have probably noticed that the folks paying a small fortune for lead packs are getting burned and while some people are still saying you get what you paid for and urge the buy mentality I realized while I was counting the money I have made using my free advertising, that the senario didn't add up.

Free leads come from free FFA postings and Free e-e-zine and newsletter sign-ups as well as lead capture pages and safelist member roles, but guess where those paid for leads come from?
So, if the leads you pay for and the leads you get free come from the same sources, how does paying the list owner 40.00 per thousand make them suddenly more reliable? Even the few leads thrown in by marketers, that were generated by paying clients, have already been exhausted, they have been worked to the point that most of those folks are tired of opening e-mails and have already changed their primary contact info, and 90% of the others are marketers looking to sell, not buy. I concentrate on the 5-8% that are truly new and fresh, those just entering the world of network marketing, I do it by showing them eye catching ads, with subject lines they haven't seen before and I offer my personal support and follow through on my offer and make that the primary focus of my ads. People know that no program by itself will make them money, and most can't afford to buy the newest e-book to learn the ropes. I mean, if you have money already, why would you need to do this? The folks with money write and own the products we sell, they have teams of marketers working for them, they don't have to market one thing on their own.

Howard L. Moreland (author of free ad secret), Cory Rudl, Mike Filsame, and the rest of the Guru's write or purchase their next program or e-book, pay a programmer to set up their sales pages, write sample ads and purchase banners. All they have to do after that is to had their products to Click-Bank and start counting the money as it pours in. These guys spend a couple hours a month to write newsletters they put on their auto-responders and we pay all the advertising cost. Ads to these guys are useless, an offer of unlimited wealth gets emptied with the rest of their junk mail, but the person starting out will jump for free training and sign-up as a free member.

Yes I said offer free and they sign-up free and yes at this point you don't get paid a dime. Now, I make money from paid sign-ups like the rest of the marketing world, but 95% of my paid sign-ups were free sign-ups first, but the reason they eventually pay to join is 10% quality programs and 90% upline support. I contact each personally and I give them free tools, resources, training , and all important emotional support. I show my team how to make money, I give them the tools they need to make money, and I show them that they can make money as long as they believe in themselves half as much as I believe in my team. At this point I finally start to show them the real value of the program they joined, I share my results, and I teach them to look at the potential.

It all works in easy steps. You get a free sign-up and most marketers just send sales pitches, and if they pay to join they find themselves on their own. I see a free sign-up as someone with a true interest and desire to make money, but they are looking for someone to show them the way. So I focus my effort to show them how, give them the tools, build their faith, and prove the results and that's when they pay to join. After that the rest is a matter of staying in contact, helping them through the rough times and making sure they keep the faith. Support and training cost nothing and are the best sales pitch money can't buy.

The long winded,

Guest Article

This weeks Guest had a similar problem to mine earlier this week. Computer Crash. So I have decided to share a little advice that a close, dear, not forgotten, dearly departed fiend of mine shared with me when I was fourteen. First though I want to tell you a little about the man they called coyote Jim Buttler.

Jim Buttler was a gift to the academic world, his philosophy and personal wisdom lead him to a fine teaching career and an eventual post as a english and Latin professor at UC Berkeley and later at UCLA. Jim was a wandering Free spirit. A man who came from honest means, work 2-3 jobs to put himself through college and spending most of his life in service to others. Jim was a common man like you and me, right up until colon cancer claimed him in his mid-late 80's. Jim would go off on a philosophy of the relativity of age to a young heart if you ever asked how old he was.

Jim Buttler, accepted post afforded to him as a result of his academic tenure, but with each new post, came a new set of people trying to push him towards a more posh and befitting lifestyle. His wife and children chose to follow the status quo into that lavish lifestyle, and Jim never really ajusted to Eggs Benedict, he loved his biscuits and gravy.

In the mid 70's Jim Buttler signed over his worldly belongings and with a 200.00 beat-up old van and a few paint brushes, he fell practically off the face of the earth. Jim loved art, and he like us simple folks, he started painting on over the road trucks, moving from town to town to avoid bad weather, but for the most part he called Fort Stockton Texas home. Jim and my dad met when my dad was just starting out painting, and they never lost track of each other, even when 2,000 miles separated their businesses.

Jim would show up from time to time, and that time was always in time for dinner. Jim's biggest weakness was my mom's pork steaks and he could smell them cooking 4 miles away. Jim became coyote Jim in 1982, when he was passing through Huston Texas heading home from Billoxi MS. At the time there was a story in the news of how a little coyote pup had wandered into downtown. Officials said they were going to donate the animal to a local zoo but being so young they didn't expect it to live. Jim went down and paid 800.00 to the city of Houston for the pup he later named Cinco, Cinco is the number 5 in Spanish and since he was watching channel 5 news, it fit.

Hundreds of baby bottles with the nipples chewed off, they were best friends, Jim raised a total of 6 Coyotes, even a 3 legged one also found in Houston, but Cinco was like his only child. When Cinco died, Jim nearly starved to death morning his lost pal. Jim was a friend like most search a whole life for, he would gladly give you his last can of pork and beans, or as we called it JIM FEED if you even so much as looked hungrier than him. I know in my heart that God was waiting with arms stretched wide open when my dear friend crossed over those pearly gates, and his simple message would have been come on in, welcome home, I am so proud of you.

The message jim shared that has proven true true n all aspects of my life is a simple 4 step plan to achieve success.

Jim wrote in my notebook when I was 13 and doing a school project, the 4 secrets of success.

1. Strong Mind: You must make it a habit to never stop learning.
2. Strong Body: You must be able to handle the long hours and hard work it takes to be successful.
3. True Heart: Above all, be honest with yourself. If you are not happy doing what your doing, do something else. Then apply that same level of honesty to how you deal with others and you will gain much needed respect as an individual.
4. Faith: You must believe, you can, you will, and you won't fail. You must developed a great inner passion for what you want to do and follow that passion until you have achieved your goals.

Jim, sometimes was sometimes a wealthy man, and sometimes a hobo, but no matter where the long road of life had taken him, his heart and soul made him a king among kings. Good night and gods rest kind friend.

When is a lead a dead end.

What the Guru's Say: Promote one program and promote it well.{Usually theirs}
What the Guru's Do: Have you ever seen a Guru with just one program or link?

I have heard a ton of feedback from people saying that they love my programs, but, they are already promoting a program and don't want to spread themselves thin.

These same folks spend thousands of dollars on leads and hundreds of hours pistol whipping the same dead horse. Their auto responders promote one link until the lead clicks un-subscribe. I know, I have been there too.

I learned sometime ago that hot programs still get dry spells, I also know that my purchased and collected lead may already be part of my programs so I am whipping the proverbial dead horse to send the ads to these folks over and over. The other thought is, what if they just aren't interested in my offer? So, when is a lead a dead end? Never.

I lay off sending the first offer to a lead after they fail to responded to it 3 times, I may at a future date remind them of the program again but I still consider them a lead. I just switch gears and try sending some other program offers, and this usually gets great results. These folks are still looking for great opportunities, they just don't want the one you offered first.

What creates a program dead spell?
When a new program launches 3-5 thousand marketers jump on board and flood the net, looking for referrals. You will see the ads anywhere you look and then amazingly the 20 sign-ups a week drop to 1-2 a month. The program only dies if you give up on it and most of your fellow marketers will. What I have found is that this is not the death of a good program, it's only a new beginning. you let the traffic die for a month and then you start to promote again. this time there are only a few active promoters and thousands of new opportunity seekers. I have better results with several programs after the die off.

Why do you get better results on a second pass? For the simple fact that folks are not bombarded by tons of hype, you have genuine results to share, and less competition for there sign-ups. Most of the marketer that were there for the launch, have made their money and have moved on to the next big thing. What this means for you is that the 95% that did not join on the first go around will have a knowledge of the program, and with your help they will see the money the system has already generated. They will be more willing to fork over the cash to join a proven system that has made others extremely wealthy and you won't have to fight everyone in the system to get them to join.

This approach is as simple as the bulls and the bears in the stock market. The bulls jump on the hype and make a fast buck, then jump to another programs hype, creating a lot of activity and the dreaded lull. The bears are a little more stubborn and will stay with the program to make the larger long term rewards. Bulls make a great deal of money fast but bears tend to make a lasting income, and are better positioned for wealth.

Being a bull means that you will make a ton of money in each program, but to do so you will spend 50-60% of your revenues to advertise during the hype, because the secret to making money in that 1st wave is having your link reach the prospects more often than other promoters. When a bull jumps to another program they will spend 70-90% of their profits from the 1st one to beat the hype in the 2nd.

The bear on the other hand let's the bull spend the ton of cash, building the grass roots for the company. They take a very small part in the hype and will reap the long term reward. Because they lay back and wait for the hype to die down they spend 40% or less marketing the program and take a higher profit percentage, they are the ones left behind when the bull jumps ship and will market based on a pre-existing hype to a totally new market. Being one of the few left in the system, actively promoting they will get more sign-ups in the long term that the 30 day bear and spend less to get it.

As a bull or a bear, you will need to have a couple programs running at all times to survive the lull after the bulls leave the system. The bear will split their time sponsoring 2-4 systems and make a steady stream of income in all of them. The bull will have 90% of their time invested in one program, and usually only has time to build traffic to their current offer. The bull will have to find a new pre-launch to get started in before the hype has totally died or they will go a month or more before they make new income.

YOU MUST DECIDE WHETHER YOU ARE A BULL OR A BEAR.

I will take the wise old bear under my wings and make you and me some major money. If you fit the bears profile and want to build a system of long term gains join my forum page and look for new program announcements from admin, or join Anderson Team Forum

Note: Members of the Anderson team Forum are more than welcome to place free ads for all of their offers. I will be sending a ton of traffic to the site in the next few months and the folks who have been visiting have been reading a ton of post whether they join the forum or not.
