What good are your products if you don’t have a place where you could sell them, right? Think of the internet as one big marketplace. Naturally, to be able to sell your wares in a venue like this, you will need a store… a digital store. This digital store takes the form of your website.
A website that sells information products does not have to be complicated. In fact, the simpler it is, the better it would be. Designing your website would depend on what products you’re selling, and how many products you’re actually offering.
If you’re just offering one product for sale, you could simply host one page for the same. This page is called a sales page, or a sales copy. A sales page is where you could try to persuade your visitors to purchase your products. This can be done in a variety of ways. The question that needs to be asked, really, is if you have the resources to procure the services of one?
Even if you don’t have such allotted resources for such, you could still prepare your own sales copy. Simply keep in mind the following guidelines:
* Your sales page should start with an attention grabbing headline. If you’re selling an eBook about dog grooming for example, you could emphasize on the best benefit that your readers would be able to derive from the same. Here is an illustrative headline: “Finally, An Ebook That Reveals Easy And Comprehensive Steps In Keeping Your Canine Companion Squeaky Clean!” Remember, a headline should be able to grab your visitors’ attention to compel them to read the rest of what you have to say. Always be guided by this rule.
* After your salutations (“Dear Sir/Ma’am;” “Dear Internet Friend;” Dear Valued Customer;” etc.), you should first introduce who you are and what your business is about. This would make your readers know that they are dealing with a credible expert in the field. Also, this would diminish the anonymity that sometimes makes them hesitant to trust you with their hard-earned money.
* Establish the necessity for the product you’re about to offer. Discuss the market and why there is a need for your goods. This can be done by enumerating some problems with the way things are. With our running example of dog grooming, you could create a semblance of necessity for your eBook if you would discuss the rather unpleasant smell that unclean pups would leave in the house, or the fur that comes off their bodies because of their lack of grooming, etc.
* Introduce your product. Include the specifications for the same.
* Enumerate ALL the benefits that could be derived from the use of your product.
* Lastly, create a sense of urgency. Many internet marketers label this as a “call to action.” This is where you would be able to get them off their seats, in a manner of speaking, and punch their credit card details to order your product. This is the most important component of your sales page.
A sales page can easily become the entirety of your website by itself. Simply add a payment button that would lead your would-be customers to the payment processing page. This is dependent on the merchant account you will procure. PayPal, 2checkout, ClickBank , and Advantage Processors are among the most popular payment processors for online businesses. If you are in a high risk category like MLM products, certain financial categories, or offer goods to overseas places Advantage Processors may be one of your best options.
Another thing to keep in mind is that if you have less than desirable credit, or have been turned down by other payment processors do to say a bankruptcy or failed business there are programs like Advantage Processors that specialize in getting your business back into good standing. Some services may cost a bit more at first but as you establish yourself these should go down in cost.
If you’re offering multiple products for sale, you would need a sales page for each of them. Your landing page (the page that would load up when the visitor would type in your URL) should contain links to each of your product’s sales page.

Simply go to that site and choose the category that your pages belong to, then post your advertisement, with your link of course. It doesn’t matter that no one would get to read it. What matters is that the search engine spiders would find your website as they would come from a PR7 site.
* Look for partners who are willing to include your list in their pages. The easiest way to do this is to use the free tool at www.webconfs.com/backlink-builder.php .
* Try triangular linking. Google despises reciprocal linking, but triangular linking is one way of going around this limitation. Look for two or more webmasters who are willing to give it a shot. Free double impact viral marketing report.

Folks ,I want to tell you a story about one of the main reasons I became known as “The Free Guru” and one of the reasons I have gone in 4 years time from a free Yahoo website to 8 websites and 8 blogs, as well as owning my own membership program.

Breaking that Free member mindset.
Hey folks,
In this installment of the training forum we will be talking about the freebie mindset and breaking the mold. See for years I was known as the free stuff Guru, because I used free systems and websites to promote and build through affiliate links and start developing a mailing list. You talk about hard work, what I do now is nothing compared to what I did then.
Here's a little history for you. See I had to get good at generating traffic quick. I used 1 main traffic exchange that would 25% of my referrals traffic to my account and used 5-7 other traffic exchanges to get 30+ members into that exchange. This would send about 4000 extra hits to my free geosite from Yahoo, or later on my Freewebs or Tripod sites. I started using a free auto responder and capturing leads and amassing free e-books and software to give away to get sign ups. At one time I had over 12,000 in my list until the auto responder company went out of business.
Now, tons of traffic does not amount to much if you are using free traffic to promote free offers, and I had no upgraded programs at the time. I made a little income from PPC boards like Adsense and from traditional affiliate programs like Commission Junction and Pricester's Mambo.
That money allowed me to get my first paid domain andersonspecialty.net which I have since done away with because I couldn't move it from where it was hosted and that hosting was the worst I ever used. With my own domain I was able to start building a search engine rank and added a blog before blog marketing was popular. I was around 12,000 visitors a month and making about 40-50 a month in profits.
I had a lucky break, and a friend brought me to Money Train, and since I was struggling and didn't have the money to join, the owner says hey, you have the passion, and tools to make money online, but don't have the money to get started. Like an idiot I said I am in 12 programs that are free to join and any one of them could pay me thousand's. I was laughed at and she told me straight up. We need to break your freebie mindset. I was embarrassed when she asked me, "What's a 90% commission on Free?".
I didn't have the cash to join anything, even TMC where it was $25 one time. She amazed me and said if you do me 3 things I will let you in free. these task were, 1 Work harder than ever before, and 2 never stop learning, and 3 when the time comes, do this for someone else. So now you know why I do this forum, and now you know why I opened the doors to my friends at Adland and offered free access to my paid membership website.
See, we all start out about the same. Even if we start in a paid program we go along advertising in free programs to free members seeking free stuff and hoping to make money. It's the American Dream to get rich quick and we will fall for any offer that say zero investment earn the moon. These companies fill with 100,000+ people selling their products and build a high search engine ranking. They get millions of visitors and buyers without an affiliate sending them to the site. They also get about 4-5 thousand sales a month, but usually 90% of the affiliates walk away before they qualify for their first paycheck.
They may offer 50% commissions but the fact is they save millions on advertising and pay less than 2% of total sales to affiliates. Check the stats and you will see I am right on this. See when 100,000 affiliates send 1,000 visitors a week to a website that's 40 million hits a month and an easy number one ranking. Since we advertise in traffic exchanges and safe list, we are targeting other marketers, not buyers. We build huge down lines of people promoting to other people who don't buy a thing.
So, how to break that mindset? The first step is to look for companies that are either 100% paid membership or offer an upgrade package. Begin networking with paid to join forums and advertising resources, but don't get in debt. Start out with a few flyers around your town, when you make a sale buy business cards and hand them to cashiers and friends, and even leave one with the tip at the local diner. A couple more sales and you take out an ad in the white sheet, then the newspaper. Move up to some PPC ads online, 30-60 a month budget, but focus on buyers, people who have broke the freebie mindset and are willing to invest in their future.

First off, they don't want you to find something better and leave, and second they want you to spend 20 years trying to become a millionaire while earning slightly more than your old 9-5, they want you to be dependant on them for 10 years or more.
They do not want you to get rich I guarantee you.
What? They say they want you to get rich, but rich people become business owners or retire, and they want you to make sales and keep making sales for years to come. It cost more money to train and support a new affiliate than it does to pay your commission check on 12 sales a month. They need you to be happy and comfortable enough to never strive for more. They want you to live in fear of losing what you have so you never take a chance and expand your home business.
Look at your company close. Most offer revenues from more than one product, multi stream income. Most offer links to paid services like leads and traffic they earn money from, multi stream income, and if they are publicly held, check the annual report and you will see they own stake in other companies and report income from dividends. They can have multiple stream income and you can't? Your company does not want you to get rich, they don't want you to retire, they want you to work.
Break the freebie mindset and you will start earning what you are worth, it's not a way, it's the only way.

This would send about 4000 extra hits to my free geosite from Yahoo, or later on my Freewebs or Tripod sites. I started using a free auto responder and capturing leads and amassing free e-books and software to give away to get sign ups. At one time I had over 12,000 in my list until the auto responder company went out of business.
Now, tons of traffic does not amount to much if you are using free traffic to promote free offers, and I had no upgraded programs at the time. I made a little income from PPC boards like Adsense and from traditional affiliate programs like Commission Junction and Pricester's Mambo.
That money allowed me to get my first paid domain andersonspecialty.net which I have since done away with because I couldn't move it from where it was hosted and that hosting was the worst I ever used. With my own domain I was able to start building a search engine rank and added a blog before blog marketing was popular. I was around 12,000 visitors a month and making about 40-50 a month in profits.
I had a lucky break, and a friend brought me to Money Train, and since I was struggling and didn't have the money to join, the owner says hey, you have the passion, and tools to make money online, but don't have the money to get started. Like an idiot I said I am in 12 programs that are free to join and any one of them could pay me thousand's. I was laughed at and she told me straight up. We need to break your freebie mindset. I was embarrassed when she asked me, "What's a 90% commission on Free?".
I didn't have the cash to join anything, even TMC where it was $25 one time. She amazed me and said if you do me 3 things I will let you in free. these task were, 1 Work harder than ever before, and 2 never stop learning, and 3 when the time comes, do this for someone else. So now you know why I do this forum, and now you know why I opened the doors to my friends at Adland and offered free access to my paid membership website.
See, we all start out about the same. Even if we start in a paid program we go along advertising in free programs to free members seeking free stuff and hoping to make money. It's the American Dream to get rich quick and we will fall for any offer that say zero investment earn the moon. These companies fill with 100,000+ people selling their products and build a high search engine ranking. They get millions of visitors and buyers without an affiliate sending them to the site. They also get about 4-5 thousand sales a month, but usually 90% of the affiliates walk away before they qualify for their first paycheck.
They may offer 50% commissions but the fact is they save millions on advertising and pay less than 2% of total sales to affiliates. Check the stats and you will see I am right on this. See when 100,000 affiliates send 1,000 visitors a week to a website that's 40 million hits a month and an easy number one ranking. Since we advertise in traffic exchanges and safe list, we are targeting other marketers, not buyers. We build huge down lines of people promoting to other people who don't buy a thing.
So, how to break that mindset? The first step is to look for companies that are either 100% paid membership or offer an upgrade package. Begin networking with paid to join forums and advertising resources, but don't get in debt. Start out with a few flyers around your town, when you make a sale buy business cards and hand them to cashiers and friends, and even leave one with the tip at the local diner. A couple more sales and you take out an ad in the white sheet, then the newspaper. Move up to some PPC ads online, 30-60 a month budget, but focus on buyers, people who have broke the freebie mindset and are willing to invest in their future.

It cost more money to train and support a new affiliate than it does to pay your commission check on 12 sales a month. They need you to be happy and comfortable enough to never strive for more. They want you to live in fear of losing what you have so you never take a chance and expand your home business.
Look at your company close. Most offer revenues from more than one product, multi stream income. Most offer links to paid services like leads and traffic they earn money from, multi stream income, and if they are publicly held, check the annual report and you will see they own stake in other companies and report income from dividends. They can have multiple stream income and you can't? Your company does not want you to get rich, they don't want you to retire, they want you to work.
Break the freebie mindset and you will start earning what you are worth, it's not a way, it's the only way.
