What Kind of Blogger Are You?
Professional Blogging Done Right is Rewarding, Done Wrong, Frustrating.
As a regular reader of the Anderson Marketing News Blog you will soon learn secrets to powerful professional or for profit blogging. You will soon find this is a passion of mine and I take it very serious and will not steer you towards spam or scammy tactics but instead will share honest tips and instruction on how to be a self sustaining bloggers who gets ranked by search engines and builds a following.
A key sign you have the wrong blogging trainer when learning how to blog for profits is in your starting point.
I have read a hundred crap guides by so called Gurus that come out with installing Wordpress and grabbing their modified package of plugins they claim work for any blog but really only establish their links from your blog at a price well above the FREE these same plugins can be found on Wordpress.org. FACT: All blogs are not created equal and thus will need specific plugins and tools in addition to a core set to perform well over time. Format of a blog will judge the tools required, the blogging platform which may not be Wordpress at all, and even your theme.
Sure the Guru book told you just use this one and customize it to look the way you want in time but fact is until your custom theme is in place your blog will look and leave the impression of just being any other blog. Using a widely distributed theme set can also pose certain security risk as well because hackers and virus programmers learn the exploits hidden in the theme and can use pieces of the code to find all blogs ripe for their attacks. Can't choose a custom theme or begin to work on design though until you know....
