What is true social media search?

Kooiii Social Media Search began its life as “Easy Search Live” in 2003.

Kooiii has been a front runner in providing services such as the “Quick Look” windows that Google is now looking to add. The result is the buzz right now on Searchengineland.com and other industry sites.

We tipped our hat to the fact that Easy Search Live and Kooiii were blending social media with search results. Google, Bing, and several other engines jumped into the market with poorly done social applications that basically robbed results from Twitter and Facebook and displayed them next to the search listings. Unlike Kooiii, where our social media front end impacts the results through user interaction, these services simply deliver second hand information.

Meanwhile, Kooiii was expanding from the network searches of those powerful and established media communities and developing a socially integrated front end. Now this isn't Twitter being returned beside the terms, and no - it's NOT a paid listing imposed at the top of generic results. This is a social network that can take buzz from user comments and ratings on-site and deliver instant results and indexing in the search pages that grow or diminish with user interaction.

  • When it comes to claims of being the first, a trip through “Way Back Machine” will prove us to be on the ground floor of these changes in technology.
  • When it comes to claims of true social media integration, our competition is left wanting.
  • When it comes to results, you will find more results with unbiased and wholly natural targeting at Kooiii that you just plain can't find on a lot of the sites popping up lately.

Here is a direct shot though at a bit of a fraud in Internet advertising taking place under the guise of being a search engine.

That is the art of purchased keyword engines that do not meet the targeting requirements of verified and generic search results. You've seen them; those so-called engines operating on the same premise of Search Big Daddy which was a notorious Internet Scam that went down a couple of years back.

  • They promote to marketers the ability to buy and sell keywords and make a huge fortune, saving people money from Pay Per Click pricing.
  • They promote to advertisers a fixed cost that will not go up after the engine is popular and make claims of millions of coming users.

The first claim is HYIP which is a form of Ponzi, and illegal in most nations. The product value is shot for lack of targeting. The paid versus the generic status is shot for lack of delivered results. That leaves new member purchases as the only viable means to profit from the keywords, and is like purchasing shares in a rotator or multiplier scheme.

The second claim is on the savings, which, if these sites could in fact deliver millions of searches daily on a level with Google, Yahoo, or even Kooiii for that matter, would be true. The fact is however, that when a person performing a search hits a site like Kooday or one of the others of this nature launching around us, and searches for a Dentist, only to pull up a listing for Trojan condoms in unique flavors, that person will be gone and will be telling friends not to even go near that site. The fact is that the lack of targeting on the search results will guarantee that your listing, as an advertiser is worthless, and will not get targeted traffic or convert to sales.

Trust is also lost in the fact that these engines spend all of their time selling the purchase of results instead of building a reputation for delivery of accurate and targeted listings. You don’t search Google because you want to find ads, but because you want to find what you are looking for.

Put up against Kooiii, it will be our laser targeted and fully generic results that will be a continual draw, just as they have been for years. Our low cost Pay Per Click advertising appears around the results and our social interaction can be seen and is branded to our network, not supplied by Twitter or Facebook. We pride ourselves in a reputation that you can depend on for the service our members have grown to love. It's past the time that you join us at Kooiii to see what real social media search is all about.
